Cuba decrees Official Grief for the death of the Emir of the State of Kuwait

 

On the occasion of the death of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, decreed an Official Mourning from 06:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 12:00 at night of this 1st. October.

In the As for the Presidential Decree, Díaz-Canel highlights that the Kuwaiti dignitary "demonstrated respect and friendship towards our people and contributed to the promotion of ties with important regional blocs, as well as to the strengthening of bilateral relations with Cuba."

During the validity of the Official Duel, the flag of the lone star will be hoisted at half mast in public buildings and military institutions.
